Are you as excited for cherry blossom season as I am? I've been stalking the University of Washington's live quad cam, and it's predicted they'll be in full bloom in just about a week! Did you know that the cherry trees at UW were a gift to Seattle from Tokyo's mayor in 1912 and were originally planted in the Washington Park Arboretum?

Last year I was lucky enough to photograph this adorable family during the full bloom. The whole week was full of miserable weather, so it was extra crowded during their photo session. Luckily, we were able to make it work!

Do you have your eye on a special location for family portraits? Tell me about it, and we can work together to make it happen!
